Fickle Fettle is a small handmade business project that I've been developing the last couple years. I'd been looking for a creative outlet that would allow me to explore and iterate as designer in a cost-efficient and sustainably conscious medium, and soy pillar wax, color and fragrance have been the perfect materials. My process is creating digital models, 3D printing them on my SLA high resolution resin printer, then casting them in platinum silicone to create original molds for my hand-poured candles.

In addition to developing mold making and prototyping techniques, this small entrepreneurial project has allowed me to grow my experience in a variety of business development strategies including: assortment planning, product costing, brand identity, packaging design, web design, product photography, website design , shipping and fulfillment, strategic marketing and gathering insights from consumer feedback, website data analytics and social media engagement analytics.
